Negotiating International Agreements

On June the 16, 2016, Me Dekeuwer will do a presentation entitled “Negotiating International Agreements” organized by the Lyon Metropole Saint-Étienne Roanne Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Lyon Metropole Saint-Étienne Roanne Chamber of Commerce and Industry organizes, on Thursday 16 June 2016, a conference entitled “Negotiating International Agreements”.

Me Dekeuwer will first address the basics and the general aspects of negotiations. Then, she will present the economic benefits that a precise legal negotiation may procure and she will make an analysis of the issues and outcomes of inter-culturalism in international business relationships, a topic she is passionate about and on which she has published an article in the « Inter Pacific Bar Association » revue. Finally, she will discuss the main stipulations and provisions, as how to approach them in a practical way while negotiating. The firm’s presentation on “Negotiating International Agreements” will be addressed to the conference’s participants.

Me Dekeuwer, on the strength of her multicultural France-Asia-America expertise (China, Korea, Canada), her international networks and her experience, in particular as a lawyer in Korea and as director of the France-Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI), of which she is currently a member, will answer the participants questions on legal and economic aspects of international negotiation, especially in a contest of business relationships (“B to B”).
